As corporate social responsibility (CSR) gains increasing importance, Triide Singapore is demonstrating its strong commitment to social causes through concrete action. Since the end of 2024, we have participated in the Community Accounting Programme (CAP) initiated by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. Through this initiative, we support resource-constrained charitable organizations in their financial digital transformation, showcasing how professional firms can turn business expertise into social value.

Supporting the Community Accounting Programme

Triide Singapore provides accounting support to charitable organizations as part of the Community Accounting Programme. Jointly launched by ISCA, the Office of the Commissioner of Charities, and the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), the programme helps small charities enhance their financial capabilities through shared digital accounting services.

Since its pilot launch in October 2023, the programme has supported five charities and non-profit organizations, including Fo Guang Shan Singapore, Waterways Watch Society, and Band Association of Singapore, etc. An additional 14 organizations have signed up, and the programme is expanding to support at least 50 more charities and NPOs by the end of 2025, helping them improve accountability and governance.

Driving Impact with Digital Finance for Charities

Many small charities still rely on manual bookkeeping and paper-based reporting. This approach consumes time and resources while potentially hampering organizational decision-making. For organizations with limited resources, digital accounting solutions often present cost and complexity barriers, requiring both technical knowledge and significant upfront investment. Through the CAP initiative, Triide Singapore helps these charitable organizations access digital accounting services at reduced costs while securing vendor discounts and government subsidies. Our professional team provides consulting services for six months to a year, ensuring smooth system transitions while recommending appropriate operational and risk management procedures.

Good News Community Services demonstrates the impact of our support. With Triide’s assistance, the charity has significantly improved its financial efficiency. Automated financial reports now free staff to focus on value-added tasks such as financial analysis. This enhanced efficiency allows charitable organizations to devote more energy to their core mission of serving vulnerable communities, expanding their social impact.
