Jason brings almost 20 years of experience in CFO leadership, private equity investment, portfolio operations, post-investment management, and advisory services across finance, healthcare, and business service sector.

He began his career at KPMG as an Audit Assistant Manager, delivering IPO and M&A audit services for large domestic and foreign‑invested clients. He then joined Ernst & Young (China) Advisory Limited as a Manager, leading financial due diligence engagements for more than 30 companies across healthcare, TMT, consumer goods, and other sectors for top‑tier private equity clients. In 2014, he joined Hillhouse Capital as Executive Director, where he led post‑investment management for a medical device holding group and oversaw a portfolio of close to 100 companies, including leading global business service platforms.

Pursuing an entrepreneurial path, Jason joined Optact Group in 2022 as Group CFO and China CEO, leading financing, finance operations, and tax structuring. Under his leadership, China revenue tripled, strategic partnerships were forged, and a localized R&D ecosystem was established. 

With a strong track record in business‑finance integration, capital market operations, and cross‑border strategic expansion, Jason is known for his logical, detail‑oriented approach and his ability to drive growth in complex regulatory and market environments. He is a Fellow Certified Public Accountant (Australia) and holds multiple qualifications in the securities and fund industries in China and Hong Kong.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business English from Capital University of Economics and Business. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
